My neighbour has not liked us since the moment we moved in. My dog barks (she's in a fenced backyard) His wife psychotically screams at her. He called the fire department on us (we had two small logs burning and nowhere near his property) and they charged us 100 dollars. That was the last straw. He told him to put his kids inside and to come over and talk about it instead of hiding in his house phoning people. He did NOT go on his property or harm in any way. The neighbour then called the police and told them a bold faced lie. He said my husband threatened to kill his kids!!!! The police arrested my husband and now he has to go to court!! I think this is a dilemna every mom faces. I have 3 children and each one was different with this situation. New research shows that it is beneficial for infants to have pacifiers up to one year. I agree with you... you do not want him to start sucking his thumb. Which causes major issues with the child's mouth. If your child really doesn't have much of an attachment to it now - he might not later either. Keep offering it and if he takes it great - if not, don't push the issue. I would only allow it at night or napping, during other times you want to promote chit-chat. Then at 18 months I would ween him. Both of my older kids whimpered for about 2-3 night - Mostly just sitting up in bed looking for it and when they didn't they fell back asleep. I hope this helps. good luck!

Need some serious help with an early pregnancy question.?

Okay during the first week of June, I found out that I was four weeks pregnant. Two days after my missed period, I wound up miscarrying. They did not have to do a D&C or anything, because it was a "chemical miscarriage" or a miscarriage that happened before 6 weeks, which generally does not involve any medical procedures. Several weeks later, after the bleeding stopped, I was (Apparently) ovulating during or around the time of my last unprotected ual encounter. I concieved again, and implantation took place seven days later. I got my BFP today, however I've been having pain in my ovaries (Or near my ovaries) traveling from one side (Usually the right) to sometimes my left side. I have not told my parents I am pregnant yet, and I was planning on waiting a week to be sure I won't have a miscarriage and so that I don't ruin their vacation, but I'm a bit concerned that I might be experiencing an ectopic pregnancy? Looking for some weight training and weight loss advice.?

Hey everyone. Here's the situation. I'm nineteen years old, going on twenty and I just broke 300 lbs. Not a good thing. I've been overweight for a fairly long time now, and when I was in my early teens it didn't bother me. I felt fine, and overall I still do. I've got a good heart, not easily winded, all that jazz. But now, after holding the weight for so long and steadily gaining, I'm starting to ache. Bad knees, bad back, all that jazz. 300 lbs may sound really bad, but in actuality I'm probably only around 80 to 90 lbs overweight. I'm a fairly big fella, height and shoulders, etc. Anyways, here's what I'm looking for. I'm looking to get healthy, and I need some advice. Looking for a starter weight training regimen and also an easy to get along with diet. I started cutting back a few days ago and so far I've been focusing on a diet that is primarily composed of protein since I'm working on gaining muscle in this process. I'm balancing different veggies and fruits and all that jazz, but the main focus is alot of meat. So, now that you have an idea of what I'm going for, any advice? Any good resources I should be aware of? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm not saying it's happen to me or that I am currently in that situation, but for the parents that have struggled before in a similar situation, which you had to find a way to feed your child with foods you usually don't feed them, what would you do if one day you was left alone with your child from the age 0-6 months without any money, no one's help, no formula & the child doesn't eat solids, baby food or baby cereal & the only thing the child is to be fed is formula, for one whole day until someone you know helps you or whatever the case is, what would you feed your child so he/she won't stay hungry and at the same time you don't cause any tummy pains or sickness on the baby??? My mom and dad after 22 years of marriage filed for divorce back in March. They both want to work things out but a location for them to live together is hard to figure out. My mother moved out of state to be with her family. She is coming up with in the next couple days to see us all and to get my two brothers to go down to where she is living for a while. My mom says she will not move back here because of my dads family. She doesnt want to be around them. The courts will rule that the boys stay here with my dad because of schooling. The situation is very complicated. This guy chased me for months, called me, stalked me until I finally talked to him. I did some shady things to him too. I went out with his friend, and I did cheat him but that was in the beginning before I really got to know him. Sounds good to me, swimming is one of the best ways to exercise because there is no wear and tear on the body. Eating right is extremely important as well. I have a friend who just cut pop out of her diet and she lost 5 to 10 pounds just because of pop. I guess if you want to add more depends on what you want to develop. If you want to just slim down and tone your muscles then it sounds like your doing a good job if you want to build muscle you'll have to start lifting weights. I would suggest a medicine ball, I have one and that is what I use and I love it. You can do a lot of exercises and they are good for working on abs.

Is it okay to let one dog dominate the other?

I had to dogs a cairn and a rat terrier/yorkie/poodle mix. My Cairn Terrier Roxy is dog friendly but she always marks over Reesy and when they play Reesy would pin Roxy down and growl if Roxy tried to get up or move. Roxy is a little food aggressive and when Reesy eats out of her bowl Roxy lunges at Reesy and tries to attack her.
