Do you know any 18 year olds who still use a dummy and or a bottle?

Why are dummys (pacifiers) such an emmotive topic for some people. I read one question where a mother was asking how to wean her 3 year old off a dummy and some of the answers were awful, stating she was a bad mother etc, the poor women was just asking for advice.
