Want to start my own type of home sales busniess, how to do it.?

I would like to start my own homesales/catalog business. I want to market mainly to mothers of children birth-7 or 8. I want to sell moderatly priced unique gifts/noveltys. I would prefer newer more innovative and modern products. Something for younger hip mommies. Everything from Pj's and bath products for mom, to gifts for dad, and clothes fedding utensils including bottles ect for baby and toddler on up. Also maybe some organic products. Or maybe a whole organic company. kind of an at home one stop shop for all organic products for baby. How to I find a list of companies that distribute these types of things, or a list of companies that make these products. Also what else will I need to start. I think for a while I will print my own catalogs, but I think this could be really profitable if I price it right. My area is far from major baby department stores and dosnt have many specialty shops.
