Do atheists deny the principle of sufficient reason?

The principle of sufficient reason states that if anything exists, happens, or is true, there must be a sufficient reason for it being so (in terms of adaquate cause or ground) - nothing can be so for simply no reason. I have heard atheists say that spontaneous radioactive decay is an example of an uncaused process as part of "causeless" quantum phenomena.
