SHouldn't everybody pull his own weight and shouldn't we end the welfare state, where is Herbert Hoover again?

So if everyone is suppose to pull their own weight, does that mean you want to get rid of that huge social welfare program called social security? plus get rid of healthcare for the elderly and disabled? If you want to end the "welfare" state, get rid of the biggest social programs first. Then I'll have respect for people who say they want to get rid of socialism. Then stop regulating utilities, and see just what we can afford once capitalism reigns, with no regulations and no public services keeping every day costs in check.
