Ive always believed the kjv of the bible is the Authoritative "kings' english"! Am I wrong?

The real character does not reside in its archaic pronouns or verbs or other grammatical forms of the seventeenth century, but rather in the care taken by its scholars to impart the letter and spirit of the original text in a majestic and reverent style.
