Windows Start up in Windows Vista Home Premium?

Just recently when I switch my computer on it takes a long time in booting up, once it has everything is working fine, my anti-virus is up to date as is my Adaware program, can anybody out there give me a solution to my problem.....Many thanks in anticipation...if you know the answer could you give precise remedy that is easy to follow
