Why do atheists tell us here in R&S that ‘Jesus never existed’? Say what!?

For someone supposedly born during a census in a region known for its meticulous record keepers, any mention of his birth or life outside of the bible is strangely absent-- including any record of the forced m infanticide of *every single male child under the age of two* by king Herod when he learned of this messiah's birth. You'd think something so horrific as the extermination of an entire generation of boys would have been noted by the Romans or for that matter anyone at all. Yet somehow, men the same age as Jesus seem to be quite plentiful in that same area once he is grown. Don't you think that's odd?
