Troy Bilt engine trouble!?

My, not quite a year old Troy Bilt mower (Bronco Automatic) engine dies after releasing the break! It starts up fine but when I release the break to get moving/mowing the engine cuts out! Talked to Troy bilt tech help and they are baffled! One guy said it could be a safety switch??? Where and what is that? Never saw it in the manual!
