What part of the computer is better?

I Have a NIVADIA GeFrove 7300 GS I used for gaming and it just about run dawn of war jumped quit a bit and I run in lowest details.. Then I looked up the Card my motherboard came with (Intel GMA 3100) and people say that that can run Halo 1 fine, No Problems. So i'm wondering which one is better and did I get scammed?
